Install a coil rated at 1.0ohm or above in an MTL-compatible tank. Many popular tanks offer both MTL and DTL coil options. Choose the MTL coil. If your current tank only supports low-resistance sub-ohm coils, it is not compatible with high-strength nic salts regardless of the wattage setting.
Keep the wattage at the lower end of the coil's recommended range. For a 1.0ohm MTL coil this is typically 10W to 14W. Never exceed 18W when using 20mg nic salts.
